PERSONAL DATA, PRIVACY POLICY AND COOKIES

What does this mean for you as a visitor to www.workoutbrands.com and for you as a customer of Workout Brands.

Privacy Policy

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform how and why Workout Brands collects and processes personal data.

It is the CEO of Workout Brands as well as Fryskap Aktiebolag who is ultimately responsible for the processing of the information collected and processed by Workout Brands. The responsibility can be delegated to another position in the daily work. The privacy policy that follows below contains the information that the data protection regulation requires us to provide in connection with our processing of your personal data.

Workout Brand's processing of personal data complies with current regulations for the protection of such data.

Legal basis for processing personal data

Processing of personal data is not permitted unless there are valid reasons. Such reasons can be, for example, consent from the registered person, purchase agreement (a concluded agreement) or that we, as the person responsible for the processing of the personal data, have a legitimate interest that has greater weight than the data subject's demand for privacy protection.

Our reason for the data processing is normally that there is an agreement and in some cases that the data subject has given consent. When the processing of your personal data begins, we always provide information about the reason for the data processing.

If Workout Brands is to process personal data for children under the age of 16, the consent of the guardians is required.

Workout Brand's use of personal data

We collect and process personal data so that we can fulfill our agreement with our employees (administration of the employment relationship) and members (administration of the customer relationship) but also to be able to provide good service and inform about our product and service (marketing activities). The use of personal data in connection with marketing activities is based on consent, which you can cancel by emailing info@workoutbrands.com

Our websites offer a place online with a large selection of gym equipment and accessories. The information we register when purchasing is name, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, postal address and payment details.

Disclosure of personal data? Use of Third Parties

Registered personal data is treated confidentially with us, and only those who need the information in their work will have access to it. As a rule, we therefore do not share personal data with anyone outside of Workout Brands and Fryskap Aktiebolag.

However, in certain contexts it may happen that we share personal data with our partners, such as Facebook or Google. Sharing personal data with third parties is a case of personal data processing that requires certain legal prerequisites to be met. These conditions will primarily consist of the consent of the registered person, so you as a registered person will always be aware of our possible release of data. Please note that under certain circumstances we are obliged to disclose your personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. A cookie is a small text file, and our website will always ask your browser to store the cookie on your computer. We do this to remember what has been done on the website, what you like and how often you have been on our website. It enables us to give you better access to various features. In addition, we use cookies on our pages to keep statistics on what is ordered and how much our website is used in general.

There are two types of cookies: One type is a file that is saved on your computer for a longer period of time. The second type is a temporary cookie (session cookie). Such cookies are only in use during the time you use the website. We use both types of cookies. You can remove our cookies by opening your browser settings and deleting content.

Storage and deletion of personal data

We do not disclose your personal data to others unless there is a legal basis for this. Examples of such reasons are normally that you have entered into an agreement with us or that there are legal reasons that compel us to do so.

All processing of personal data we do takes place within the EU/EEA area. Workout Brands deletes your personal data without undue delay and at the latest after 24 months when the warranty has expired and the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. They are also deleted if you withdraw the consent that is the basis for the processing of the data or if you object to the processing and there are no compelling legitimate reasons for the processing. We have clear deletion procedures for each data processing activity.

If you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data, our processing of your personal data ceases, but this does not affect the legality of data processing that was based on your consent and that took place before your consent was withdrawn.

Your rights

You have the right to request access, correction, deletion (unless we are obliged to save the information), restriction of data processing and disclosure of your personal data (data portability). In addition, you can request that we end the processing of your personal data (for example by withdrawing your consent). If you wish to exercise one or more of these rights, we will comply with your request within one month of receiving it, provided we are not obliged to act otherwise. Any inquiries can be sent to our email address, info@workoutbrands.com

If you believe that we have violated the rules for the processing of personal data, you can complain to the Swedish Data Protection Authority.

Feel free to contact us at our email address, info@workoutbrands.com, if you have comments or want more information about our processing of your personal data.
